Speakeasy in a basement? When our long-time multifamily client came to us with this unique vision for their unfinished basement, we were all in. They wanted it to feel like an authentic step back in time to West Midtown, Atlanta — and we achieved this through carefully selected finishes: aged herringbone brick, reclaimed beams, antique mirrored glass, warm leather, gunmetal, and aged brass.

We even sourced historic photos from the Atlanta History Museum archives, custom-framed to line the walls. Every detail was considered, from a hinged art piece concealing the electrical panel to fully functional bookcase doors — one of the project’s most challenging yet rewarding design feats.
